Step Groups
Celebrate Recovery's step groups are where, as we like to say, "the rubber meets the road". Step groups meet independently of regular Monday night meetings. These groups are gender specific but not topic specific meaning that the participants will likely have a variety of issues. Step groups meet weekly for about an hour and a half as they work their way through the "12 Steps" answering the questions in the 4 participant guides. A step group typically could take anywhere from 9 months to just over a year to complete. Group sizes may range from 5-15 people and are always gender specific and limited to adult participants.
Step groups begin periodically throughout the year and require a serious commitment from participants. These groups are led by volunteers who have previously completed the 12 steps. The leaders will also work through the participant guides as they lead this group through the process. Work is completed throughout the week and sharing takes place during the designated weekly meeting time. These groups also follow the 5 Small Group Guidelines.
Taking this journey through the 12 Steps will lead to new levels of freedom like you have never experienced before.
